EFCC Secures Court Order To Detain Omisore

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has secured a warrant from a court to detain Otunba Iyiola Omoisore, a former Deputy Governor of Osun State, in connection with the ongoing investigation of N1.310billion illegally allocated to him and three companies by the Office of the National Security Adviser(ONSA), reports say.

So Omisore might be spending a long time at the EFCC custody.

I Have Not Made Any Moves To Get Back To Toyin-Niyi Johnson

Adeniyi Johnson, actor and estranged husband of Yoruba actress, Toyin Aimakhu, has stated that he has made no moves to reconcile with his ex since the marriage broke up; rather the reverse has been the case. In an chat with Saturday Beats, Niyi debunked the rumour that he has been calling Toyin every time in order to see if they could work on their marriage. He said;

NDLEA Plans To Abduct Me, Kashamu Speaks Out

The Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Prince Buruji Kashamu, has revealed a plot by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to abduct him as well as plans by some individuals to assassinate him.

In a statement issued yesterday in Lagos, Kashamu alleged that the plot to abduct him was being coordinated by the NDLEA and some powerful individuals in the agency.

“I do not know what I have done to them that they want to do as if Nigeria is a Banana Republic. If anyone thinks he has a case against me, he should approach the courts and allow the rule of law to prevail.

Man Divorced Three Times Finds Love With Sex Doll

A three-time divorcee has found love with a doll with whom he shares a deep emotional connection, and has told of the "ecstasy" he experiences when they have sex.

Murray, from Queensland in Australia, purchased the 6ft doll in 2008 and named her Noni years ago.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has taken a position that the introduction of single currency by West African states would promote economic integration and faster progress within the region.

Baba Obasanjo said this while playing host to the President of ECOWAS Commission, Marcel de Souza, at his Hilltop Estate, Abeokuta.

The eagle eyed policemen who spotted the vehicle with some male occupants gave it a hot chase, according to a statement. The men realising they are being trailed by the police abandoned the vehicle and fled.

A housemaid, Mrs. Umu-l-kulsum Inuwa, has been shot for allegedly failing to attend to her boss’ wailing three-month-old baby on time. The boss, Alhaji Jamil Bala, a chief in Kano State, reportedly shot the 35-year-old housemaid in the neck and breast.

One of his guards in the house was also said to have been hit by the bullets.

Punch Metro learnt that Inuwa, who is a widow and mother of three, was rushed to a private hospital where she had been admitted.

It was learnt that the incident happened in Bala’s residence in Barnawa, Kaduna State, on Saturday, June 25, 2016, when his wife went out, leaving the baby behind.

 A 52-year-old evangelist, John Arinze, has been arrested by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency over his attempt to export N1.4bn worth of narcotics to South Africa.

It said the drugs, made of 92kgs of methamphetamine and 73kgs of ephedrine, were detected inside two containers of foodstuff meant for export to South Africa at the Apapa Seaport in Lagos.

A statement by the NDLEA spokesperson, Mitchell Ofoyeju, on Friday said the suspect, who is a Nigerian based in South Africa,confessed to the crime. He added that sniffer dogs belonging to the agency detected the drugs during screening operation.
