The Federal Government of Nigeria has postponed the resumption
of primary and secondary schools in the Federation till October 13, 2014. According to Minister of Education, Mallam Ibrahim Shekarau, the
decision became necessary in view of the risk posed by the Ebola virus which
could easily spread through schools.
