Bill & Melinda Foundation Donate $50m To West Africa

As West African Countries struggle to contain the EVD which is ranging the economy and population as a whole.The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have announced it will donate $50 million to help fight the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

The foundation said the money will be immediately released to the United Nations agencies and international organizations that are involved in the Ebola fight to enable them and national governments purchase needed supplies and scale up emergency operations. 
 
This will be used to accelerate the development of therapies, vaccines, and diagnostics that could be effective in treating patients and preventing further transmission of the disease.
