The embattled National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ali Modu Sheriff, has finally gained entrance officially into the national secretariat in Abuja and resumed office.
Earlier on Monday, Mr. Sheriff was denied access to the secretariat by police because, in his words, some PDP governors are trying to use Police to control the party.
Sheriff addressed members of the media once he succeeded in taking over his office. He lambasted some PDP leaders for disobeying court orders and installing a National Caretaker Committee.
As it stands, Sheriff is PDP national chairman. But how will Governors Fayose, Wike and others take this?
