2012 is looking quite busy for pop star Dapo ‘D’banj’ Oyebanjo. While his upcoming Live Nation tour is still making tongues wag, the hit-maker is now set to perform at the Hackney Weekend 2012 in London.
The festival which is put together by UK national radio station BBC Radio 1 will take place on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday 24th June at the Hackney Marshes, London.
There will be performances across the Main stage, Dance Arena, 1Xtra stage, In New Music We Trust stage, Outdoor stage and BBC Introducing stage which will showcase a varied mix of UK and international artists.
The Entertainer who recently shot his ‘Oliver’ video while recording with fellow G.O.O.D Music label mates in the UK has been showcased on the radio station’s website as one the acts lined up to perform.
Other performers include David Guetta, Jessie J, Will.I.Am, Taio Cruz and Tinie Tempah. Organizers say lots of other acts will be confirmed in the weeks to follow
