Owner of a car rental business in Nigeria, Alexis Zogbelemo was on
Wednesday given the death penalty by the the Shah Alam High Court of
malaysia for trafficking drugs into the conservative country.
Judge Datuk Akhtar Tahir sentenced Alexis Zogbelemow after finding him guilty of the offence involving 824.1 grammes of substances that tested positive for Methamphetamine.
The judge ruled that Alexis' defence statement was fabricated and merely a denial.
