Ebola Hits Mali

The first case of Ebola in Mali was confirmed tonight, making it the sixth West African country to be touched by the worst outbreak on record of the deadly disease.

Health Minister Ousmane Kone told state television that the patient was a two-year-old girl who had recently arrived from neighbouring Guinea, where the outbreak began. 

The child was brought to a hospital in the Malian town of Kayes - which is about 375 miles from the capital of Bamako - on Wednesday, and her blood sample tested positive for the virus.

Oyo State Confirms Outbreak Of Lassa Fever

Another outbreak after Ebola, well the good news is that we have control and cure over this one,Oyo State Commissioner for Health, Dr Muyiwa Gbadegesin, has confirmed the outbreak of Lassa fever in the state in western Nigeria, assuring that the government is on top of the situation as well as curtailing it.

Gbadegesin, who, according to a PM News report, disclosed this to journalists in Ibadan, said that the government is aware of 10 cases of Lassa fever, adding that out of the 10 cases, three were brought into the state from another state.

Another case of Ebola has sprung up in New york,USA yesterday as a 33-year old US Doctor by name Dr Craig Allen Spencer pictured up who recently returned from Ebola-hit Guinea in West Africa has tested positive for the disease. 

 

The infected Doctor who was working with Charity Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) in Guniea. He tested positive at the Bellevue Hospital,New York, He has been Isolated, this is the fourth case in USA and the first in New York.

Okooo,so Its official as the much awaited declaration of interest by President Goodluck Jonathan to seek for a second term in office has been finally laid to rest this afternoon as the president told leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP at the Presidential Villa, Abuja that he would procure nomination form of the party before the deadline.

DailyPost also gathered that the President has set up a presidential declaration committee charged with the duty of drawing up a formal programme for his declaration.

The Presidential Declaration Committee is headed by Dr. Haliru Bello, a former Minister of Defence. The declaration will hold between November 7 and 15, 2014

This is simple and knowledgeably interesting. the male sperm is made up of X&Y while the woman's egg is made up of X&X, now let me make it clearer. male sex have the X&Y chromosomes while the female sex have the X&X chromosomes. During fertilization, only one part of the chromosome is released; for a man it is either X or Y, for a woman it is either X or X. so you can do the simple analysis. If the man releases X the child will be a girl because the woman by default releases only X.
