Jennifer Lawrence Buys Romantic Home

Hunger games and Silver Linning Star Jennifer Lawrence just bought herself a pretty house with a pretty fabulous celebrity pedigree in Beverly Hills.

E! Online first reported Lawrence purchase and Yahoo Homes has confirmed that the house was purchased through a trust associated with her dad. It sold for $8,225,000, according to the listing agents' websites. That's more than the asking price: It was listed in July for $7.9 million.

Our buddies at Trulia note that the house was owned by Jessica for almost a decade, up until exactly a year ago.The unnamed flipper paid Simpson $6.4 million for it in October of last year.

According to the current listing, a "total designer remodel" has ensured a residence "done to the nines" -- a "stunning and romantic estate."
