The situation regarding the tuition fee that saw 8 Lagos State University Students being arraigned before Ikeja Chief Magistrate’s couth for disturbing public peace by Police has lead to wide mass protest by Lasu students who came flooding Governor’s office yesterday 5th June 2014 around 3pm.They barricaded the main entrance with 2 BRT buses and other vehicles. They were well prepared as their hungry stomach did not stop them; they cooked, sang and danced.

The union president, Nuruden Yusuf spoke about the continuous increase in fees and asked the Governor to release their colleagues that are currently in cell and also to reduce the tuition fees as this is not the first time case. Lasu has been battling with continuous increase of tuition fee.
