Boko Haram asked Villagers to Line and then opened Fire on them


 


More Shocking details on latest Boko Haram raids on Borno communities became available on June 4, 2014, Wednesday. Local security sources claimed that at least 91 people lost their lives in separate Tuesday’s attacks.According to reports Boko Haram militants launched a number of bloody and well-coordinated attacks in Gwoza Local Government Area.The terrorists invaded Aganjara, Agapalawa, Attagara and Ngoshe villages driving military-style vehicles, including an armoured personnel carrier. The attackers were also dressed in uniforms.
Many locals have initially thought that the gunmen were the soldiers of the Nigerian Army. The militants have reportedly order the villagers, which they were able to spot, to line up. Then the terrorists opened fire on the helpless and unsuspecting victims. The death toll of such a vicious attack is likely to hit 100 people.An undisclosed resident, who talked to the newsmen via phone, narrated that two of his relatives have miraculously escaped manslaughter in the village of Attagara.The survivors were able to run into the bush and hide there. They spent the whole day there hiding from Boko Haram and attempted to sneak back to the settlement only after the environment got more or less quite.
It would be added that at least 9 worshippers lost their lives in Boko Haram attack on a church in the same village on June 1, 2014, Sunday.It has been gathered that Gulumba village, near Bama, and Ngoshe community were under siege as well. Boko Haram gunmen have reportedly shot everyone on sight there.At least nine people were shot dead, buildings were razed in Ngoshe. Many people were declared missing. They might have fled to Cameroon for safety.Three village heads and one ward head were among the causalities of Tuesday’s attacks in Borno.
