Service of Songs held in Honor of Late Amka Igwe

 


It was a great shock to most people especially Nollywood at large when the news of Amaka Igwe broke out who died on 28th April 2014, Even in death many have such beautiful words to say about her,she impacted people as she was a  pacesetter,The funeral rites of  late movie icon, Amaka Igwe commenced yesterday at The Haven, Oba Akinjobi Way, Ikeja GRA, Lagos where a Tribute/Service of Songs held in her honour.Movie stars, friends and well-wishers from all over Nigeria stormed the Tribute Evening that was anchored by Richard Mofe-Damijo and Ireti Doyle. The Enugu version of the Service of Songs will follow on Thursday, June 12 and a day after(Friday, 13th June), her funeral at the Igwe’s compound in Ndiuche, Arondizuogu, Imo State.May her soul rest in peace.
