The Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, has approved the lump sum
payment of leave allowance to all staff in the State’s mainstream Civil
Service, Local Governments and the State Universal Basic Education Board

A statement issued by the State Head of Service, Olabowale Ademola, on Thursday in Alausa, Ikeja, explained that the approval was sequel to agreements reached during a meeting with the Lagos State Public Service Joint Negotiating Council. Ademola noted that Officers between Grade Levels 1 and 8 would be paid in May, Officers between Grade Levels 9 and 12 would be paid in July, Officers between Grade Levels 13 and 14 would be paid in September, while Officers between Grade Levels 15 and 17 would get their annual leave allowances in October.
