Mercy Aigbe & Husband Back To Social Media War

Mercy Aigbe’s estranged husband is very upset at the moment. The actress earlier today posted a video telling her fans there would be a rally tomorrow at Falomo to protest against domestic violence and once spoke about her own experience with her husband. Her husband however saw the message and it didn’t go down well with him. He called her out demanding she tells the world the truth because he didn’t beat her and ended it with ‘If only you all know the truth about her and who she really is’. What Mercy’s words below and that of her husband right after hers!

Mercy’s words below and that of her estranged husband right after hers!

Why will a man who obviously beat his wife, try so much to deny what he did? My take is because he knows what he did is wrong and apparently he is ashamed and cannot own up to it...... Let us be very careful of what we do especially when we are Angry as we might not know the consequences of that action.......Violence like I keep saying does not and will not solve anything, let us learn to control our anger at all times..... Arguments are bound to happen between couples but under no circumstances should we let it result to violence! Nobody has a right to hit, his or her partner regardless........
Battery and Assault is a CRIME!
#saynodomesticviolence
#saynotoassault

Join us in the #1in3Africa campaign, a campaign against violence!

We are walking the streets of lagos to show our displeasure at this menace that is eating deep into our system....... Join us tomorrow by 10am, Start off point is Falomo Bridge by Awolowo Road......
Conflicts should be settled amicably and not through violence, only weak men hit women.

Basori says he was not always celebrated for his short stature - and had to overcome bullying in his younger years - but has now been dubbed a 'hero' by his proud family.

And Basori himself is quite happy with his unusual stature.

He said: 'I don't have a problem with my height. I work, live and sleep like other people. I also eat like normal people.

'Whatever I am is okay. I don't face any problems because of my height.'

Germany Legalises Same Sex Marriage

German politicians have voted to legalise same-sex marriage. A total of 393 politicians voted to legalising "marriage for everybody", while 226 voted against and four abstained from voting.

The snap vote took place today, only days after Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel changed her mind to allow a free vote.
Ms Merkel, has always been against same-sex marriage, but she allowed for the vote after saying on Monday that politicians could take up the issue as a "question of conscience". As expected, she voted against the bill citing concerns over the welfare of children.

Members of Ms Merkel's conservative coalition were given the freedom to individually vote for their choice rather than follow party lines. The Chancellor said though she voted against legalising gay marriage, she hoped Parliament's approval of the measure would lead to more social cohesion.

She said: "For me, marriage in the basic law is marriage between a man and a woman and that is why I did not vote in favour of this bill today."

The chairman of Cometstar Cable Manufacturing Limited, James Uduji in this interview with Vanguard explains how Evans and his group kidnapped him, how he suffered in their hands and how he eventually regained freedom after paying them $1.2m.

How he Was Kidnapped

On September, 2015, as I was coming back from my factory in Agbara to my home in Festac, arriving Seventh Avenue, I saw four gun men. They stopped in front of my vehicle and started shooting while I was with my two drivers in my Hilux pickup.

I was sitting at the back, thinking they were policemen. I was wondering why they were shooting and charging at us not knowing that they were kidnappers. In the process, they shot us, me and two of my drivers but luckily, nobody died. I still have a bullet in my body.

By the time I realized they were kidnappers, they dragged me out of my vehicle to their own Lexus 470 Jeep. Inside their Jeep, there were lots of arms and ammunition inside a box. They had another box at the back where they put me in.
