Multiple Grammy Award-winning Soul singer, John Legend, is reportedly engaged to long-time model girlfriend, Chrissy Teigen.
The pair were engaged over the holiday during their vacation in the Maldives according to the singer’s publicist, Cindi Berger, who failed to divulge further details to People Magazine, which first broke the news.
Legend, 32, and Teigen, 25, have been dating for the past four years and were regular items on shows and red carpet events.
The ‘ordinary people‘ singer, whose new album with The Roots is titled ‘Wake Up‘, is to make his first public appearance since the announcement when he performs at The Pearl at The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas New Year eve.
John Legend, born John Roger Stephens, who apparently made the move to co-incide with his 28 December birthday, is a nine-time Grammy Award winner, while his fiancée, Chrissy Tegien who is of Norwegian ancestry, is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model.
