Meet Ketchup, Naija Wonder in Malaysia

Ketchup was born as Onyido Nkemjika in the Western city of Lagos, Nigeria...Ketchup was one of the most popular dancers in Ijanikin during hez ruin, as a whole his creativity was unpeckable, this kept him  in a league of his own in every competition he entered..

Ketchup started going deeper into dance and music as a collective entity so much that he started teaching younger students how to dance and move like him.his passion grew very large so much that all he wanted was music and dance. Nkem ended up with the right group of friends who boosted his ego and also resurected his inner fire for music and dance once more..within this crowd Nkem had adopted the name KETCH-UP due to his zeal to always want to get everybody in a jiggy mood whenever they got together ,so his freinds discribed him as the spice to every event and his freinds would refer to him as the guy that will 'ketchup the place'

He has recorded songs in Malaysia with top artistes such as James Baum, Brittela, Dabenja, Yomi Vuitton, Jowie, Micah and Deuce among others and has peformed at different shows along side the MI,JESSY jagz,banky W,Wiz Kid,Sexy Steel,Wande Coal,Flavour,Dr Sid,Terry G and worked with djs such as Dj JAM JAM ,DJ Flavour and Dj Quest.Due to Ketchup's exposure to different kinds of music his fans tend to see him as a very versatile artiste and his ability to switch styles when need be gives him a very distinct feature in the midst of other artistes not to mention his overwealming energy and creativity on stage

Ketchup is moving and moving fast, the beginning of his achievement recognition came when he twon BEST MALE ARTISTE  AND BEST STAGE PEFORMANCE all in one night at the AEA 2011 IN MALAYSIA, and has now been nominated for MOST PROMISINC ACT TO WATCH at the NEW awards in New York.

This humble to heart, funny, energetic ,creative peformer is focused and never backing down.An artiste whom has come to fuse dance music and his FUNKY nature into the entertainment industry as a whole.
