The respected novelist, poet and dramatist, died at the Good Heart
hospital in Port Harcourt around 3:45m on Wednesday. He was 82. May his
good soul rest in peace. Amen!
Some of Captain Elechi Amadi's works include: The Concubine, The Great Ponds, Isiburu, Sunset in Biafra, Dance of Johannesburg, Peppersoup, The Road to Ibadan, The Slave, Estrangement and Woman of Calabar.
