Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie is sure having a good time right now,just weeks after she tied the knots with Brad Pitt, she has
received an honorary Damehood from Queen Elizabeth today 10th October 2014 at the Buckingham
Palace.
She was presented with the Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St Michael and St George by Queen Elizabeth II. Angelina was recognized with the honor for the work she has done to raise awareness against sexual violence around the world.
In Her own Words Angelina Jolie states, “To
receive an honour related to foreign policy means a great deal to me, as it is
what I wish to dedicate my working life to. Working on PVSI and with survivors
of rape is an honour in itself. I know that succeeding in our goals will take a
lifetime, and I am dedicated to it for all of mine.”
Her Hubby Brad Pitt and all of
the Jolie-Pitt children were present at the event.
