Alleged mastermind of the October 1, 2010 bombing in Abuja,
Charles Okah, is currently at the National Hospital in the Federal Capital
Territory recuperating from haemorrhoids (piles) surgery.
Okah who is standing trial before a Federal High Court in
Abuja was absent in court yesterday, as his lawyer explained to the judge that
his client was on the 18th of February taken to the national
hospital in Abuja for surgery.
Even though the other defendant was in court, the case was
adjourned due to the absence of the 1st defendant (Okah). The case
has now been adjourned till March 19th.
It will be recalled that only last week, his Daughter,
Tarila granted an interview asking that her father be released to his family
who are 'dying' to have him back in their arms because he is innocent of the crimes
they are accusing him off.
