Early today, Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Fatai Owoseni, came to
the rescue of a young mum who was arrested by policemen attached to
Agbowa Police Division for stealing plantain.
It was learnt that the young lady told Police operatives who apprehended her at Agbowa market that hunger pushed her into stealing the plantain to have something to eat and feed her child. CP Owoseni was touched by her plight; he ordered his men to release her and her baby. The police boss also gave her N10,000 for her upkeep.
