Senate president, Bukola Saraki might have to defend himself
at the Code of Conduct Tribunal after his legal team walked out of the
tribunal today over verdict on stay of proceedings.
CCT has now adjourned his trial
to November 19.While speaking on the behavior of Saraki’s legal team, Justice
Danladi Umar of the CCT said Saraki’s legal team have disrespected the court.
Saraki is being tried for false asset declaration and has a
13-count charge against him.
