Edo State Governor Comrade Adams Oshiomhole yesterday July 24th 2014 sworn in 18 new permanent secretaries and reversed
the appointments of two Permanent Secretaries for coming late to their
swearing-in ceremony.
The appointees were expected to have been seated at 12 noon for the ceremony,
which was billed for 1pm. The event however kicked off at 12:30pm after the
Governor arrived the venue at 12:23pm, but only 18 would-be Permanent Secretaries
were seated at the time.
The Governor started the ceremony immediately and went ahead to swear the 18 punctual appointees. While the other finally showed,all pleas made to Gov.Adam did not move him as he went ahead to reverse their appointment.
