I don't know about Nigeria but it seems this black Friday sales is becoming something else in United Kingdom according to DailyMail Scenes of violence and chaos broke out across the UK as millions of customers flooded shops and supermarkets to try and get their hands on cut-price goods during the Black friday sales.

Police were called to dozens of supermarkets as the midnight sales descended into chaos, with shoppers resorting to wrestling one another on the shop floor as they competed over discounted TVs, which had been reduced by as little as £60.

Bomb Blast At Kano Central Mosque

Scores of people are feared dead in a bomb blast at Kano Central Mosque, near the Emir’s palace, witnesses and the spokesperson of the Military Joint Task Force in the state, Captain Ikechukwu Eze, have said.

Witnesses said the bomb went off as Muslim faithful prepared for their Friday jumaat prayers,causing serious pandemonium as people ran helter-skelter for dear lives.

The explosion, which went off at about 2 p.m. before the Imam of the mosque, Sani Zahradeen, began his sermon, was said to have been followed by sporadic gunshots.The number of casualties is not yet known. Details Later

Buhari's Aircraft Denied Landing Rights In Markurdi Airport

What is really happening to our Federal Universities,with the current hike in school fees, the difference between Federal and State universities will be difficult to ascertain.The University of Jos has been shut down indefinitely after a protest by students over hike in fees turned violent. The protest started yesterday morning with students holding university administrators hostage in their offices.

Security officials where later called in today when  the protest continued to calm the situation. But a soldier attached to the Special Taskforce on Jos crisis (STF), instead of calming the situation opened fire on protesters leaving at least 8 students with gun wounds including a blind one.

Senate President Shuts Down National Assembly

Following the early morning chaos today at the National Assembly with Speaker of House of Rep, Aminu Tambuwal and other Lawmakers,Senate President, David Mark has ordered the immediate shut down of the building till Tuesday next week, November 25th 2014.

 The IG of police has also been ordered to appear before the House to explain what happened today. Meanwhile the House of Reps have adjourned till December 3rd.
