This is a good one,A bill has
been presented by the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal to the State Assembly stating
that parents who refuse to send their wards to school for a formal education
would be committing a criminal offence.
Governor
Tambuwal gave the hint yesterday while addressing religious, traditional and
political leaders from the 11 local government areas who paid him a sallah
visit in Sokoto.
He also
noted that as part of measures to enhance implementation of the new policy,
government would build and equip 240 primary and tertiary healthcare centres in
the three senatorial zones of the state.
