Following the just concluded election in Osun last weekend,A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party ,PDP, in Osun state, Chief Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, has called on Governor Rauf Aregbesola to
prevail on All Progressive Congress APC supporters to desist from
manhandling and continuous shooting of PDP supporters in about nine
local government areas of the state .
The retired Deputy Comptroller General of Nigerian Customs who called
for ,more support of the presidency and the leadership of the National
Assembly to "rescue Osun state from the ruling All Progressive Congress,
APC, after August 9"governorship election, said the violence unleashed
on members was much that the situation can not continue without any
check by the government and the security agencies
Addressing Reporters in Osogbo, Tuesday Fadahunsi, also hinted that
the ruling party, has brought in all APC political thugs across the
country to battle the party and " avert the fate it suffered in Ekiti
state"
He mentioned some of the targeted areas as Ilesha-West,East, Ipetumodu,Iperindo, Ijeda-Iloko,Ipetumodu Atakumonsa-West, and East.
