One-Eyed Dog And Cancer Survivor Are Best Buddies

They call themselves the “one-eyed family” – and these touching pictures make it easy to understand why!
Both Bobbi Loomis and her dog Lucky have plenty of reason to be thankful that they each lost only an eye, rather than their lives, and now they’re heartwarming best buddies.

Both are alive due to a miracle. Lucky’s mom stepped on his face and destroyed his eye when he was a puppy, but his mother’s owner decided not to have him put down. For her part, Bobbi’s doctor gave up when her Stage 4 skin cancer reached her eye and told her she should just make herself comfortable and wait to die. She refused to give up and found another doctor. She lost her eye, but her cancer is now totally gone and she feels great.
She feels even better because she found Lucky four years ago. Now the one-eyed family is inseparable – and cute enough to bring a smile to even the grouchiest person’s face! These two have a lot in common, and they share the same bright, never-say-die outlook on life – something to inspire all of us and keep smiling and keep going no matter what!
